Atul Kumar-INDIA PROGRAMME HEAD
Atul Kumar heads the health wing of Prayatna, leading health and technical programs, combining more than a decade of implementation experience. Atul brings experience in designing and implementing programs, products, tools, and systems that improve health service delivery. He has developed and/or supported in the development various Strategic documents such as SBCC Strategy, M&E/MIS Plan for the projects, Training Modules, National Strategic Plan for Malaria etc. while working for malaria programme in India.
Atul started his career working for the Directorate of National Centre for Vector Borne Disease Control (formerly NVBDCP) and has been associated with national and international civil society organizations in his career of more than 13 years managing large – scale funded projects by the GFATM, World Bank etc. Atul earned a degree in statistics from Banaras Hindu University and have extensive experience in data analysis and interpretation.
