Niraj Kumar Srivastava

A Seasoned Social development practitioner with more than two & a half decades of experience in varied spectrum of rural development. A Post Graduate in Labour & Social Welfare from Patna University, he has experience of rolling out  different thematic interventions in domains of Reproductive, Maternal and Child Health, Adolescent Health & Development and their fullness in life, Livelihood, Education, Water & Sanitation, Infectious disease management like TB & VL, Child Protection, care & development and Women Empowerment. He enjoys the privilege of working in Social Franchising and Public Private Mix model and rolling out multi-district flagship programmes in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. His working genre demonstrates exuberance & excellence in community led development, gender parity and mainstreaming of deprived sections in development process. A staunch believer in the power of grassroots initiatives, he devotes for chalking out plans for empowering marginalized groups and creating lasting change. Prior to joining Prayatna, Niraj has worked alongside Voluntary organizations, government departments, CSR organizations and international agencies. In his current role of State Lead of the organization, he oversees operations, team building & management and promoting organization development in the states of Bihar & Jharkhand.
