Paromita Gumansingh

I graduated from Institute of Rural Management in Jaipur with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a specialty in Rural Management & Agribusiness Management, and initially after successful completion of degree I joined Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (NRLM Project), which works to improve rural economic possibilities and empower SHG women. My comprehensive understanding of the social sector was formed because of my extensive grassroots exposure to people management and field visits. The two years of theoretical session at IRM – Jaipur has equipped me with different concepts of the social development
world starting from systems thinking to Personal Mastery for Development Leadership and Transformational Leadership. It has also polished and sharpened my understanding of organizational design, social entrepreneurship, strategic people management, monitoring using program theory, impact assessment, impact investing, designing strategy, and a variety of other skills relevant to the social sector which I am looking forward to applying at my workplace. My work experience at RGAVP also taught me the importance of universal values such as dedication, compassion, equity, and generosity, and convinced me that combining these values is the key to solving complex social issues. I have contributed to Nation prominent bone of contention, which impacted India during pre as well as post-independence era. I have been part development sector. The sector is a podium which also contributing towards “Sustainable Development Goal”, as it’s missionary is to “Eradicate Poverty” & “women empowerment”
