The importance of education remains the same in the current scenario however, 21st century calls for modifying education curriculum and emphasizing on more modern skills required to impart the education. Hence, the schools need to be digitalized and new teaching-learning methods should be incorporated. The private schools have started revamping their infrastructure, but the government schools lag in the modern form of education in India.
To bridge this gap, and provide better opportunities to the rural students, Prayatna initiated this programme in the 6 districts of Bihar, namely, Patna, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Lakhi Sarai, Bhagalpur and Gaya. The programme is focusing on installations of smart class equipment and teacher training, along with distribution of teaching-learning material.
