I’m Kumar Pawan Yaadav, currently working as the Assistant Programme Manager at Prayatna. With over five plus years of experience in the social development sector, I have been closely involved in rural livelihoods, community empowerment, and youth development. At Prayatna, I manage the Village Enterprises & Promotion Programme (VEPP) under HDB CSR, where I lead initiatives that have trained and empowered over 250 women artisans in Jharkhand. I also oversee the Adolescent Girls Empowerment Program (AGEP), integrating education, sports, health, and life skills for holistic development.
Academically, I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work (URCD & Social Policy) from Pune University. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside district administrations and NGOs, contributing to grassroots governance, digital literacy, and education reform. My work has been presented in national seminars, and I’m passionate about creating sustainable models for community development.
I’ve also cracked the UPSC CDS Exam and have been recommended in the 11th Service Selection Board interview experiences that have strengthened my discipline, leadership, and commitment to service. My journey blends professional rigor with a strong foundation in fieldwork, research, and public systems.
