B.Tech (Mining), M. Tech (Envt.) Ex-Chief General Manager, Environment from Coal India Limited. A mining engineer from Indian School of Mines has pioneered outstanding work on environment and sustainable development issues. He was a member of the Environmental Appraisal  Committee of Ministry of Environment and Forest, Govt. of India responsible for giving environmental clearance for Coal and Thermal Power projects. Besides his technical skills he believes in contributing back to society and has worked extensively to help underprivileged communities by providing them education and livelihood support. He is a champion of sustainable development that works seamlessly with the need for economic prosperity
